| RELAX AND MOVE
FORWARD All we really want our horses to do is to move forward in a relaxed and confident manner. Conventional bitting is fine and should never be totally excluded. Have you ever thought, though, how much better they could move WITHOUT a bit. Unlike hackamores, which can be very severe, the NO BIT BRIDLE features a "cross under strap" that simply puts gentle pressure on the poll, nose and side of the face when a rein aid is applied. This leaves the entire mouth free, encouraging the horse to move forward in a relaxed and confident manner. What a superb way of bridling a horse - mine is so much more relaxed in his way of going. Kate - Nottingham |

| YOUNGSTOCK In their early years, when teeth haven't finished developing and the skull is yet to fuse, putting a bit in can lead to problems later in life. The main reason is that horses are usually backed and bitted whilst they are still teething. Why put in a bit at all? We never ask the young or recently backed horse too much and, once started being ridden off seat and leg, they will carry this with them all their life. You, also can never hurt a gentle mouth as you may, if the young horse is bitted. I can now work my youngster with no fear of ever catching him in the mouth when he makes a mistake, or hurting him while his teeth are settling down. Jenny - Sussex |

| REARERS
/ NERVOUS / STRESSY Typical symptoms of horses that are being re-schooled or re-educated due to previous bad experiences. Not going forward, tense or stressy, can normally be the sign of over-bitting. They fight, we fight back - downward spiral. Take the bit away and the horse has nothing to fight against - and we can't fight back. Eventually, you may wish to bit him, but a NO BIT BRIDLE will give him his confidence back. The no bit bridle gave 9 year old Molly her confidence back after she had been severely over bitted and caught so many times with a previous owner. Thank You. Dawn - North Wales. |

| CHILDREN
/ BEGINNERS Don't we all aim for the independent seat with a rider that is soft in his hands and gentle on the horses mouth. Children and beginners may not be expected to be soft and gentle with the result that too often and quite unintentionally, the horse can get caught. Teaching children and beginners in a NO BIT BRIDLE will be beneficial to them and your horse. Happy horses at last! Riding School owner - Shropshire |

| ENDURANCE RIDING Miles of work needing control only at certain parts of the ride. You have all the control you need at the start when they are full of energy - then they can relax all the way round. A dream come true. Linda - Endurance rider |

| SCHOOLING General schooling and lessons can sometimes be repetitive and, on occasions, may call for new movements to be learnt. This is a time when horses (and the rider) can get stressy, resulting in tension and the inevitable "difference of opinion". With a NO BIT BRIDLE, the horse and rider, can stay relaxed and these new movements can be achieved in a much more pleasant and positive manner. I'm not a competitive rider, but it is so much more fun - and relaxing to school in. Rachael - Eastleigh |

| HACKING Many horses and riders enjoy hacking out and road work. If out on a quiet hack or 'poodling' around the country lanes and bridleways, why bit them? With a NO BIT BRIDLE you have control and the horse is totally relaxed. I would never believe I could hack my horse out without him being bitted - wow, it's brilliant. Bev - Oxford |

| DOUBLES AS A CONTROLLER
HALTER The design of the NO BIT BRIDLE means that, once the reins are pulled over the head, the horse is controllable from the ground, as the action on nose and poll is still active. By clipping the two rein rings together with a lead rope, means the horse can be tied up or lead. |
